In the final months of martial law, the Ministry of Internal Affairs decided to digitize data on interned individuals. Colonel Kazimierz Piotrowski, head of “C” Bureau, requested all provincial commanders to update their records. This revealed that seven names were missing from the Ciechanów voivodeship list, four of which had not been previously noted by historians. Although documentation is incomplete for some, these fi ndings raise the known total of internees in the region from 25 to 29. These records align with recently
discovered data from the Ministry of the Interior and Administration and confirm the inclusion of all listed individuals in the Ministry’s computer processing system.
